    Xbox One Controller Vibration


    My xbox one controller will not vibrate no matter what. Vibration is set to ON in all the games I play, and it is set to ON in ease of acces Vibration Settings. It doesn’t even vibrate when I buzz my controller in Accessories. I know the controller itself
    is not broken, because whenever I connect a power cable to the controller, it vibrates for a short moment, then it doesn’t vibrate at all again. I have the latest firmware update, and I have tried disconnecting/connecting multiple different external devices
    (microphones and adapters) to ensure the problem didn’t reside within them. (It didn’t.) I also made sure the system itself wasn’t having any problems by connecting a different controller to my console and buzzing it, and surely enough, the vibration on that
    controller works perfectly.

    I think I can safely say I have tried everything that I know of, and I have proven time and time again that the controller itself is not broken. Somebody please help.

    Change controller vibration on Xbox One
    Press the Xbox button to open the Panel, then select System > Settings.
    Select Accessibility > Controller, then select Vibration Settings.
    Choose the controller you want to edit and select Configure.
    For an Elite Xbox controller, select the configuration profile you want to edit. Then Select Edit > Vibrate and move scrollable sliders to adjust vibration settings.
    For the Xbox Wireless controller, select Enable Vibration to turn controller vibration on or off.

    Hello. Thank you for posting on the xbox forums. To adjust the vibration on your controller. Follow the steps in the following link. Some games allow you to change the vibration from the in-game menu. May be worth a look. Hope this helps.

    Your Xbox Series X/S controller should still work normally on Xbox One console.

    Make sure to change your vibration settings.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings.
    Select Accessibility > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.
    If you have multiple controllers, choose the controller that you want to change and select Configure.
    For an Elite Series 2 controller, select the configuration profile that you want to change, select Edit > Vibration, and then move the sliders to adjust the vibration.
    For an Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn vibration on or off.
