Xbox One Controller Update

Well i just tried updating my controller, after starting it i left my controller on the bed, after like 10 minutes the update was still at 0% so i checked my controller, it was turned off, i don't know if it turned off in the moment i actually started the
update or not but whatever, now my controller doesn't even work anymore. I can't use it, it won't turn on and the update didn't even work so yeah well i'm wondering how i could fix this and if that also happend to someone else.

There is more sites, the Titanfall controller update was part of February Xbox one update. An the Titanfall update is done by sync your controller with the Xbox, over air, no cable needed.

So Titanfall controller update is done by over air, no cable, (February update) and Stereo Headset Adapter controller update you need an cable, which comes with the adapter (March update).

 

I am assuming you had it plugged in with the USB cable ?

It does turn off (well the light goes out) when it updates, and takes a few minutes. Check batteries and try again is my only advise I am afraid.

 

I did both of my controllers last night. I had the factory chat head set installed and hooked up my cell phone USB cable the side of my X1. It took a couple minutes per controller. Both successful.

 

I did my controllers after the update, just now I plugged in my new TB Atlas headset and a prompt appeared to update my controller again?

 

The same thing had happened to me, can't use my controller anymore, have tried using manual batteries. Still doesn't work. Little bit worried, don't know what to do. Please help

 

Try using a good quality mini USB as opposed to the shoddy cell phone ones. It will definitely work with the play/charge is all I can say.

 

I updated my controller last night. And then today when I bought the Xbox One stereo headset, I had to update it again. Worked fine for me both times.

 

Worked fine with my two controllers so where did you go so wrong? Did you use a USB cable???????????/

 

This controller update isn't the best. They need to do a new version because a lot of people are having headset audio issues because of it.

 

Found out something interesting today. I got the titanfall turtle beach headset and did the controller update. After the update every time I plugged in the headset audio adapter it would turn off my controller and unsung it from the xbone. After trying everything
the tech suggested including trying to reupdating the controller (didn't work cause the xbone recognized it as already being updated, or so I thought) I decided to go to gamestop and switch out the headset for a new one. Wasn't expecting much. Strange thing
is that when I plugged in the new adapter it prompted me to do the update again. Went through the process and everything ended up working fine. This brings up an interesting couple questions. Was the adapter defective or was the update corrupt? The really
interesting thing is that it seems the controller update wasn't what was being updated but in fact it was the audio adapter that was being updated. T
