Xbox one controller update, NEED HELP!!!

After I tried updating my controller to work with my turtle beach headset, the controller itself has been working really weird. I cannot move anywhere in the menus, and the controller just keeps on going in the down direction. I am stuck on the settings
tab on the menu, and cannot do anything.

Note, I have had this controller for 3.5 years and it hasn't done anything remotely bad before any updates. as soon as the update kicked in, it has done this.

How do we update the controller? NO USB Cable comes with Xbox One.

About updating controller, To use the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter with your Xbox One Console, you’ll need to update your Xbox One Controller with the latest software to support the Adapter.

This is from:

So Titanfall controller update is done by over air, no cable, (February update) and Stereo Headset Adapter controller update you need an cable, which comes with the adapter (March update).

For me it's even worse, because my controller won't even turn on at all and it sucks because many others like you and I have it, so I made a giant tread so everyone can let their voice be heard at the same place. Simply comment to it to share your complain.

It could be possible that your Xbox controller may need an update. This is a common issue when the controller needs to be updated.

I have two Xbox One Wireless Controllers with one that has a 3.5mm jack. The Controller with the jack updated to Firmware 2.3.2385.0 and didn't need to be connected to the Console by the USB Cable at all it just needed to be turned on. The other Xbox One
Wireless Control that does not have the 3.5mm Jack has 2.3.2381.0 Firmware Version Update unable to Update to Firmware 2.3.2385.0 says that No Update is Available. I only need to connect this Controller to the Console with the USB Cable & also remove the Battery.
I am unable to use this Controller in Party Chat and while i'm playing a game disconnects itself saying Controller Disconnected and the Controller Battery is fully Charged and still turned on. Please help me update my Wireless Controllers so that they both
have the Firmware update 2.3.2385.0 and i can then use both Controllers again not just the one controller.
