Xbox one controller update help.

I had problems for some reason updating my controller because it kept saying the USB wasn't working so after messing with it for a while it worked and went to 5% then said a problem occurred. And never went to finish the update. I then restarted my console
and now my controller isn't turning on at all. No red sensors at the top or anything.

Now im trying to get back to the update controller screen without a controller and I managed to do so. I used hand gestures with the kinect and I'm at the screen now. But it says no controller is connected and theres no controller connectivity. The controller
is unresponsive. Its just not coming back on. How can i fix this? Kind of regretting turning off my console on this update..

go to system>settings>console>update controller. did you get the update this morning ?

 

wait i think i have that backwards lol. settings>system>update controller? im not at my xbox at the moment haha

idk i heard its suppose to make the analog sticks alittle more sensitive and update for the new stereo headset that came out for it.

 

My controller is still not coming on.. :'(

 

I think you are suppose to wait for the chat headset adapter. Since supposedly that is getting updated also.

 

i really dont want to spend $60 for another controller.

 

@DeZiRe, no worries, you don't need a new controller. Follow the steps "Menu - Settings - System - Update Controller" listed above and it should work for you.

A couple of heads-up items from the past couple of weeks, I have heard reports that running this update without the headset adapter
will update the analog sticks, but that when you get the headset adapter, you will need to do the update again, because it needs to be plugged into the controller for the update to accommodate the headset adapter. I can't confirm that personally, as I don't
have a headset adapter at this time.

The analog stick update IS pretty nice - I notice a lot more responsiveness and control from the sticks. Respawn requested this during the Titanfall beta because the aim was too twitchy, and walking seemed to ramp-up to running too quickly. This was due
to the outside limit/threshold of the sticks needing to be increased for more precise control.

 

But my controller is not coming back on its like... Dead
