Xbox One Controller unique issue

My controller can connect for a split second but then attempts to search for a signal IE I can power on my console using the controller but as soon as the console is on my controller DCs and searches for it. I can also sign in with the controller but as
soon as it welcomes me the controller DCs. I basically have a $500 paperweight now because I can't play anything. What do I do?

Unique External HD Issue

Hi there

I'd follow LennoxDaCat's advice and leave the console with the drives for some time in order to fill them.

Another thing you could try is connect both external drives to a working PC and check their health with WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic. If the drives pass both the quick and the
extended tests they should be healthy and safe to use and you should be able to exclude them as the potential cause of the issue.

Here is a list of things you can try.

1. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. When you start the console back up see if the controller will work.

2. Try syncing the controller manually to the console. Hold the sync button on the controller (front) and the sync button on the console (left side near usb port) until the Guide button flashes.

3. Try heading over to settings and update the controller while it is plugged in with a micro usb cable.

 

I already tried all that stuff.
