Xbox One Controller turns on wrong xbox

I have 2 Xbox ones in my room with two TVs

I have a controller synced to each of them.

When i press the Xbox button on the first one it turns on both Xbox(s). The controller does only work on the one for input.

Can't figure out how to stop this

Console

My Xbox One controller turns on and off independently however it will not turn the console on or off. Is there something wrong with my controller or console? Also what can I do to fix this issue?

controller won't turn on console

I've had my xbox one since Monday. But as of yesterday the controller will not turn on the xbox when i push the white button. It will flash like it's going to power on the system but will then stop flashing and turn off. Once I manually power on the Xbox
one and turn on the controller it works fine. The functionality of the controller is fine, nothing wrong with that. Before yesterday it would turn on the console fine. any suggestions? Batteries are brand new. The controller is synched to the box.

what you should do is first turn off the Xbox 360, turn it back on Then sync the controller or if you have a play and charge kit plug it in through that and it'll be synced to it if not then it could be something wrong inside the controller

I tried updating my controller but when I was doing that it got missed up now my xbox 1 controller wont turn on know whats wrong with it

It's just the beta box having system issues.

Try it on a different Xbox controller to see if something is wrong with that controller.

Many have said that getting the headset adapter for the xbox one controller resolves a lot of issues with the controller and headset.
