    Xbox one controller turning off after 15 minutes


    I have been trying to do an afk exploit on FH5 recently but my controller keeps turning off after 15 minutes stopping the game. I read that plugging it into the console with a USB cable fixes this but I tried and it still turns off after 15 minutes. Is there something I’m doing wrong or some setting I don’t know about or is it even possible at all?

    I don't think the controller should turn off when it is wired into your xbox. A wireless controller will turn off after 15 minutes to save battery though.

    There's no setting to change how long it takes for the controller to turn off, it's always been 15 minutes without any input.

    Having it plugged into the console directly with a USB cable should stop it from turning off from my experience.

    If you have any other cables laying around, try using a different one other than the one you tried.

    That happens if your wireless controller has been inactive for at least 15 minutes. The Xbox One Wireless Controller is designed to turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity. If that is not the case I suggest you to check this support link and check the "Your

    Unfortunately there is no setting to change the time until the controller turns off so it should be lasting 15 minutes before turning off. If it is turning off before 15 minutes you may need to check the batteries in your controller. If that isn't the
    problem then there may be something broken in the controller. Using a wired controller is also an option as this wouldn't turn off.
