    XBox One Controller, Triggers not working (**** you Microsoft)


    So I recently tried to use my new Wireless Adapter for my XBox One Controller for PC. Which simpy DID NOT WORK until I MANUALLY updated the drivers for it, since that moment my Controllers RT and LT buttons stopped working in nearly every single game I play.

    After feeling **** up by microsoft, someone recommended me to download Microsoft's "XBox Equipment" (not too sure if thats the english name, using german version) app, and that one didn't work either! My system can detected and connect with the controller
    and I can use it except for its LT and RT, SO WHY DOESNT THIS **** APP DETECT MY CONTROLLER NOW???? I'm more than just pissed off by this company and I hope that at least someone in this forum can help me find a solution for this problem.

    Hey BlubberMetal, your Xbox One controllers are covered with the Xbox One's console warranty. Contact support by phone and they should help you setup a fulfillment order for a controller.

    Hey there BlubberMetal!

    Sorry to hear about the controller issues. I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few steps to see if we can get this issues sorted.

    Please give the following steps a try:



    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
    • Once your console powers off, unplug the power cord.
    • Remove the batteries from your wireless controller.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console and reinsert the batteries into your controller.
    • Power on your console and check to see if the trigger issue continues.

    Give the suggested steps a try and if you continue to experience issues, try replacing the current batteries in the controller with a fresh set. If after trying all the steps the triggers are still not functioning correctly, you may want to look into replacing
    your controller. You can reach out to our Phone Support from our Contact Us page to verify the warranty status on your controller.

    Impulse Trigger doesn't work on xbox one controller whole world knows that, but it should work on new xbox one s controller, Microsoft should give us some resolution on this we have already paid high price.

    we are not worried about battery consumption just give us the feature Microsoft promised on this new controller.

    Do the triggers work when you test them in Windows?

    In Windows 8.1 search for your controllers by typing in USB in the search box. Select 'Set up USB Game Controllers'. In the next window, click on the 'Properties' button. Pressing the triggers should show the Z Axis going up and down - depending on what trigger
    is pressed. If the Z Axis does not move, there is something wrong with your controller.

    Whether the triggers will work in your game, depends on whether the game you are playing supports the triggers or not. Games that support the Xbox 360 and Xbox One controller natively will support the triggers, other games may not.

    Hey there. Normally in that case, you would want to send it in for repair, but since it's been opened, I don't believe Microsoft will repair it. The only other suggestion that I have is to check for controller updates, just to make sure that isn't the issue.

    I just received mine today and the shortest trigger stop doesn't register any input! I tested in Windows 10 and XBOX ONE with multiple games! The other two trigger stops work fine, it's only the shortest one with the single dot on the back of the controller
    that doesn't work. $179 for a broken controller? What the [Mod Removed-Profanity] Microsoft??? Should have expected no less than a product "made in china" where QC "Quality Control" is beyond mediocre!!!
