xbox one controller triggers not mappable

There are only 2 predefined settings that are uneditable on Sge Genesis Classics, and I was under the default control scheme in the Xbox 1 Joystick OS.

If this is the fight stick arrangement, and assuming buttons and triggers are not cross mappable:

Becuase the triggers are only swappable with each other and are always > and <, ut’s impossible to remap to get this:

B B B T

Even with the Xbox One Joystick OS

The only way you can do it is to make an "all digital mode" where the triggers are remappable as digital buttons both to and from the triggers.

Also what about the flip X axis on analog sticks?

There is a new controller now called the Elite. It's a little more expensive but has programmable (mappable) buttons to help with gameplay.

Perhaps you can check those out.

I prefer the 360 controller because I don't like the feel of the bumpers and triggers on the Xbox One controller. The triggers especially just feel that bit too soft and springy.

Do the triggers work when you test them in Windows?

In Windows 8.1 search for your controllers by typing in USB in the search box. Select 'Set up USB Game Controllers'. In the next window, click on the 'Properties' button. Pressing the triggers should show the Z Axis going up and down - depending on what trigger
is pressed. If the Z Axis does not move, there is something wrong with your controller.

Whether the triggers will work in your game, depends on whether the game you are playing supports the triggers or not. Games that support the Xbox 360 and Xbox One controller natively will support the triggers, other games may not.

Currently, there is no way to adjust trigger sensitivity when using a non-Elite controller. Some games do have a setting for it, but there's no setting for just regular controllers.
