    Xbox one controller sync not working


    I have an original xbox one that had problems with controller sync.

    It made the clicking noise and wouldnt do anything after that.

    I have replaced the control board on the front of the xbox, the wifi board, and also the ribbon that goes along the front panel.

    and it still makes the same click and refuses to start the xbox sync process.

    any ideas what could be wrong, or would the board i used to replace on the front be faulty and i should try another?

    This does not work as in order to update the controller it need to be connected to the xbox. I thought it was my controller and i got a whole new one to experience the same issue..Even when i have it plugged in it is still not syncing and the sync button

    Yes I did...hopefully this will work for you.. Left side of the xbox their is a button beside a USB port. It's the sync button, push that and use the sync button on the front of your controller.. Should work.. If not push the controller one first then the
    box one.

    That sounds unfortunate, I haven't used the sync button for the Xbox One in quite some time. I tend to just use a micro-usb to sync the controller to the Xbox One console, try that and see if it works. If it isn't synced after you remove the micro-usb
    cable, then it might be an issue with the controller itself and you may have to get it replaced.

    Hmmm odd issue. Try unsyncing the controller from the xbox, then sync the controller again. Another option replace the batteries. 3rd, sorry if this is costy, buy a new headset or buy a xbox one headset adapter plug the adapter to the xbox one sync it to
    the console and controller then plug in your headset and it should work from there. Hope this helps!
