Xbox One Controller Switching/Prioritization

Thanks for posting! When wiring an Xbox One controller into a Windows PC to charge, the PC will switch to prioritizing that USB connection over the wireless dongle. When you unplug the controller from your PC, the PC may not pick up the wireless connection
and a pairing the controller again would be necessary.

Prioritizing game downloads on an Xbox console is a straightforward process. Here's how you can manage and prioritize your downloads:

1. Go to the 'My games & apps' section on your Xbox dashboard.

2. Select 'Queue' to see all the games and apps currently downloading or in the queue.

3. You'll see a list of all your active downloads. To prioritize a specific game, you need to pause the other downloads.

4. Highlight the game or app you want to pause, press the 'Menu' button on your controller (the button with three horizontal lines), and then select 'Pause installation.

If you add the channel to your favorites, xbox one seems to prioritize this channel and fixes this issue.

It sounds like you have the Xbox One IP traffic prioritized via QoS.

Try restoring the router back to default settings.

The Xbox consoles and PS4 require different ports to be opened. Since the Xbox One and the 360 require the same ports to be open, some routers cannot handle that and only prioritize one of the consoles over the other.
