Xbox one controller stuck in game. Xbox guide non responsive

I had the same black screen problem that has plagued gamers. I factory reset my Xbox one, fixed the screen issue, played bo4 zombies. Im finished playing and trying to watch Netflix. Press x for pop up guide. Controller is stuck in game. I can get no response
or do anything on the guide menu. Help?

Sorry for any issues you are having due to the Service alert. Looks like the service alert is
coming to an end.
Please
power cycle your console (option with power cord removal) and see if it is back to normal when it comes up. This may fix the issue with the controller as well.

Try doing a hard reset on your console. Press the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely. Then unplug the power cable from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the cable back into the console
and start it up. Once it is up go ahead and test the controller. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck!

Ok, my question got pushed out of the first few pages in the support forum because of so many posts about the preview program. Legitimate problem with console and this is the topic that doesn't get responded to.. Maybe I should change the topic to "Xbox
one is the worst" and I might get a reply,

Anyway, frustration is over, I managed to fix the problem, wiped everything on my hard drive to get console to work again. Thankyou to all of the support peopled who helped me with my issue.

Legitimate console support problem has been pushed out the forums due to all of the posts relating to preview program. Maybe if I change the topic to "Xbox Is the worst" and I might get a response.

Frustration rant over with, I managed to fix problem. After 5 min finally went into system options and I reset console to factory defaults. Lost all my games and have to re download almost 400GB of games again but at least the console works. Thankyou to
all of the support people who responded to my issue helped me fix it.....

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. Just to clarify, would this be with an Xbox One or an Xbox 360? if it is an Xbox One controller you may want to try and get to the device settings for the controller and perform a calibration test on the controller.

This
support article will guide you to the Xbox Accessories App, where you'll be able to do the calibration test for your controller. if the button is non-responsive try

updating the controller.

If after updating it is still unresponsive you may have to replace the controller as the button may have malfunctioned.
