    XBOX ONE controller stopped responding following console update on 01/02/2021

    My XBOX ONE stopped communicating with my with Microsoft wireless controller following the installation of a Microsoft Console update on 01/02/2021. Tried changing the batteries and pairing the devices; although the logo lights on both devices flickered no contact was achieved and the console remained unresponsive.

    Thanks for the response. I noticed this as well. Curiously, as of 01/02/20 @ 10:01 EST the Xbox Live status page (and the in-console Settings/Network panel) states that all services are available, which is inaccurate.
