Xbox One Controller Static Sounds in Headset & Connection Issues

My Xbox One controllers are having issues where I get static and audio drops followed by momentary disconnects and resets of the controller. My controllers never completely shut off but they do sometimes freeze up upon restart.

What's odd is that this is happening on multiple controllers (1st gen and 2nd gen), when they're both wired w/ USB, or wireless with batteries or rechargeable battery pack.

The problem persists when I do a direct connect controller via the 3.5 mm port on the 2nd gen controller.

For my headset setup I use Bose QC35 II connected via a Bose in-line mic cable (Android) to the Xbox brand stereo headset adapter. Xbox is First gen as well.

I'm currently trying a relocation of the Xbox away from my wireless router, however I'm completely stumped on how else to troubleshoot. Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

    :)
