XBOX ONE Controller Shuts off when gripped too hard

So when I really get into my games like NHL for example when i were to score a goal i would grip the controller on the left side really fast or hard then the controller would shut off and id have to turn it back on ive been like that with my controllers
for as long as i can remember but i never had that problem with 360 controllers years ago, i just get really excited i think that's part of the problem but im just wondering if anyone else has experinced the same issues i have found that the new controllers
are made cheaper nowadays but i want to know if there's a fix mine is plug and play

Controller Issues

I've been experiencing a few issues with my controller.

If I leave my Xbox One unattended long enough that the controller shuts off, when I return the screen is frozen. I can't access the game, menu, anything. No response from any button input. I have to do a hard reset.

In the last week or so the right trigger vibrates every time I hold the controller guide button to shut off the Xbox One. It also vibrates when I accept a party invite.

Is my controller malfunctioning and needs replacement?

Plugging in headset makes controller turn off...

My controller instantly shuts off when headset (one that came with Xbox one) is plugged in. I've power cycled Xbox, updated controller I can't even update it with the headset plugged in because it shuts off.. Bought another headset it does the same thing..
Do I need a new controller already!? So frustrating. Help?

This issue is not supposed to happen with wireless controllers unless damaged by dropping or throwing them in mid gameplay

honestly its probably the terminal tavs for battery the get dirty and loose with age. Ill be sharing some videos throigj video gallery that deal with this. Inspection you should be able to do yourself and depending on age it may be best to do cleaning repairs
on your own if out of warranty amd confident

Yes enjoy the rubberized grips on the custom controller. I love mine. I've had it for 3+ years now and it works perfectly still to this day. It's my daily use controller, so enjoy it but just don't grip on the rubber grips too hard and twist them about
in your hand on your controller, as they can eventually wear off and come loose if you do so.

It's pretty common for the rubberized grips on the Elite controllers (especially the black ones) to start to peel off after being used for awhile. It happened to my first one, but not to my second, and it hasn't happened to my white one.

I put mine under warranty, so I replaced the first when the grips peeled off. My second black one had a bumper crack, so I replaced that one under warranty, too.

I've found that if I don't use the Elite controller all the time, it doesn't wear out, so I don't use mine when I'm not playing shooters or other games where I want/use its features.

I know it's super frustrating. If yours is under warranty, the grips coming off should be covered.

Ive held down power and hard rebooted the xbox one before and i am still seeing the crashes. It crashes when i go to turn off the system. Ill hold down the center button on the controller and select turn off xbox and it reboots when trying to shut down.
