    Xbox one controller Right thumbstick issue


    Hi,

    I have recently brought a brand new Xbox one S in India.

    While playing a Just Cause 3 suddenly my character started rotating endlessely in circle.

    The right thumbstick controls this motion.

    The character keeps moving even if i leave the controller on floor and dont push any buttons.

    This behaviour is seen across all games.

    I have already trieded power cycling the controller/console.

    My device is still in warranty. But they need me to ship the controller to them which itselg costs as much as a new controller.

    Any suggestions so that i can debug/fix the issue??

    Hi, sorry you are having issues. You say you purchased recently. Was this from a store or an online store? Would it be possible to get in touch with them? It depends how recent the purchase was however.

    Hi,

    You have to send the controller to the repair center cause its an hardware issue...

    If its the controller of the bundle ( the one coming with the console ) , you have 2 years of warranty. If its one bought alone, its 90 days of warranty.

    Go to https://support.microsoft.com/devices , register your console serial number then click on it and follow issue with accessories or call Xbox helpdesk > https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    I got in touch with Microsoft support. They have schedulled a replacement.
