XBOX One controller Right Bumper is not functioning

It's just one month and my wireless controller right bumper is not functioning at all and I play only on weekends so I am very much disappointed with the quality of the controller and I still have warranty, but when I enter my controller product
ID in the support page it says "there are no accessories found" how can I solve this problem?? and I had already registered my console ID for repair since it's not allowing me to enter my controller ID. Controller has come along with console. I tried that
"chat with Microsoft" about my issue, but no one responded.

Any help would be appreciated.

If MS will not fix it the only thing you can do is purchase a new controller. Discussion of self repair is not allowed.

Xbox one controller right bumper not responding

My Xbox one controller’s right bumper is not responding when I push it. It only responds if I press a certain spot and then even sometimes that doesn’t work. The really frustrating thing is it has no reason to break besides Microsoft being cheap (the controller
is only 6 months old and has been treated well) and there is only a 3 month (I think) warranty on accessories so Microsoft won’t fix it (I have tried requesting repairs but have been denied). Is there anything I can do besides buy a new controller or fix it
myself?

Hi buddy.

To repace an accessory, i.e. your controller, first you need to have registered your console at
http://myservice.xbox.com

Once your console is registered, you can then go back to the welcome page and you should have 4 options, the rightmost option being to replace an accessory. Once you click on that, a page will load asking you which product the accessory came with. You then
select your console and some further options will load at which point you can select controller.

Try pushing the RB (right bumper) on your controller..

RB should function as black button

LB should function as white button

Same issue here. I have one hand, that's why I bought the controller. According to the person I spoke with last night, they're working on fixing the issue.

In the meantime, I tried sort of a weird workaround that works for me: Assigned the LB to the RT function, and the LT to the RB function. So basically it's like swapping the left and right triggers/bumpers, but the bumper and trigger functions are swapped
as well. It works well enough for now, but this obviously needs to get fixed.

ROBOSLIDER

The bumpers on my launch day Series 1 Elite Controller finally broke a few months ago. Was disappointed that an otherwise perfectly functioning controller (never had the grip issue with mine) was rendered useless because of the poor design of the bumpers.
All the development that went into the Elite and no effort was made to improve this inherent weakness in all Xbox One controllers. I repaired it myself with a replacement bumper from ebay. Never had bumper issues with any of my 360 controllers.

Hello! Try one more thing, go to your Settings>System>Storage and put in a code on your controller: Left Bumper, Right Bumper X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X

This will allow you to delete the system update and restart your Xbox, when it boots back up it will prompt you to redownload the update. Then try again.
