Xbox One Controller Right Bumper Button (RB Button)

My Right Bumper Button Basically Known As The RB Button Wont Fuction Is There Any Way To Fix It So That It Will Fuction Again

Try pushing the RB (right bumper) on your controller..

RB should function as black button

LB should function as white button

 

Can no longer connect to internet/XBox live after years of no problems.

Power down, press and hold the sync button (the small one to link in wireless controllers) and while holding it press the power button.

Continue to hold the sync button until the console is booted up.

Go to System Settings and choose storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence: LB-RB-X-LB-RB-X where LB is the Left Bumper and RB is the Right Bumper

Now, retry updating from the USB drive.

under your console.
Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.

 

sadly i tried that and the only thing it said was to replace it and i wanna try to fix my controller so that it fuctions again not buy a new one i dont have the warranty anymore im wondering if there is methods to fix the button

 

Unfortunately, there are no spare parts you can get officially, so repairing the controller yourself might not be possible, if the switch on the controller board itself is broken.

If "only" the plastic button is unhinged or otherwise stuck, you might be lucky to be able to try and dislodge the button so it's working again.

But if the contact of the controller button is defective, your only options are to send in the controller for out of warranty repair, or buy a new one.
