Xbox One Controller replacement

I got an email from Microsoft giving me a follow up email but I haven't actually gotten the controller back. I got the email last Wednesday and I still haven't received it. How long does it normally take to send it back? Who would I talk to about this? Please
help

Controller warranty

Hi

I have purchased Xbox one s console and an additional controller separately. Both my additional controller and the controller which came with xbox are not functioning. I am looking for replacement warranty for both. I can replace one controller through my
xbox warranty. but how should i go ahead with replacement of the controller which bought separately?

replacement of an Elite Controller, and one replacement of the console – no deductible required.

I wanted to add that this is the Day-One edition controller. If it got replaced, it'd probably get replaced with a standard Xbox One controller, which is irritating.

In this support thread, it mentions a possible controller replacement. I could imagine how annoying it could be to replace a controller for just one button and if you think it's the Xbox that is causing this issue, perhaps you could borrow a friends controller
and see if the A button works on that with your Xbox. If It does, it will be your controller and I'd advise a replacement.
