xbox one controller replacement during warranty

I have an XBox one since 2016. I bought on Amazon (23/06/2018) a new controller (Xbox official).

Today, this one is not working anymore (doesn't charge with any usb charging device). This product is still under warranty, but it seems impossible to resend it to Microsoft. I try to link the replacement/repair request with my Xbox One, but the only message
I got is "Aucune offre de services n’est associée au problème/type d’accessoire sélectionné."

I'm very disappointed about Microsoft policy regarding after sales support. Could you please tell me how to proceed ?

Controller warranty

Hi

I have purchased Xbox one s console and an additional controller separately. Both my additional controller and the controller which came with xbox are not functioning. I am looking for replacement warranty for both. I can replace one controller through my
xbox warranty. but how should i go ahead with replacement of the controller which bought separately?

Xbox One Controller replacement problem

Hi !

1 and half month ago I received new wireless xbox one controller from warranty. New controller stopped working yesterday (analog problem). I try report it to warranty free replacement, but I can't (only paid replacement).

Any info why I can't use free replacement ?

While the controller should still be under its 90 day service warranty. You may find it quicker to attempt to return it to amazon first.

Xbox controllers have a 90day warranty, during that warranty you can get a free repair or replacement by scheduling a repair with Xbox Support. Outside of the warranty period you'll need to pay for the repair and shipping which is almost equivalent to the
price of a new controller so if it really bothers you I advice you to purchase a new one

You can fill out a replacement form to have Microsoft replace it (if it's still under warranty it would be free) https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/controllers/controller-warranty

Microsoft does not repair controllers since it is cheaper to replace them.
