    Xbox One controller receiver low

    Hi,

After few month of inactivity I decided to go back to my Xbox One.

My problem is my controller frequently disconnect even on a close range (1 meter with clear path).

    Here are the facts:
    - I have 3 differents génération of Xbox One controller and each of them are up to date and with battery power and its the same for each
    - These work really fine with a really nice range on my PC with the Xbox One Bluetooth adapter (so the controller are not the problem)
    - My Xbox One is also up to date
    - I tried to reset my Xbox One
    - I tried to turn of the wifi

I don't remember having these range problem before, the controller just randomly disconnect and reconnect even at close range.

Has anyone seen these problems ? Is there any trick to improve the power of my Xbox One receiver ? Or it is simply a software problem ?

In any cases I just can't play anymore I really don't know what to do next but to wire the controller...

    Thanks

    :)

    Elite controller not charging.

Same issues here. I tried to plug in the braided Elite cable after receiving a low battery notification. A few minutes later I received another low battery notification while it was still plugged in! I swapped to the original plug and play USB cable with
the power indicator LED and left it charging overnight (10+ hours, far more than is normally required). This morning it's still showing an orange LED, so I turned the Xbox One on and immediately received another low battery notification. I popped out the
plug and play battery, placed it back in the controller, and it was showing a full battery.

I love the design of the controller, but Microsoft had plenty of time to work out these bugs. Did they not think that by cheaping out and not including a plug and play battery that people wouldn't use their own? Also, with Instant set on the thumbstick
curves, there is pretty bad stick drift. The QA/QC they did on these controllers is awful.

    July system update

WHEN/IF are we going to get an update on a visual sign on the Xbox One controller that the battery is low, like we did on the 360 controller were the select button used to flash when the battery was getting low

    Odd happenings

I agree with viral - with the addition that the "play DVD" problem could be a dirty or damaged lens (of course it could also be a few other problems as well, such as a scratched or dirty disk). The problem with the controller connectivity could be low charge
batteries, a damaged/malfunctioning wireless receiver chip, short in the controller MO, short in the xbox MO, Damaged/Malfunctioning wireless receiver/transmitter in the xbox itself, or external electronic interference.

Controller randomly disconnect Xbox 1 x

I've never had that issue with my Xbox One original... or Xbox One X unless the controller batteries are low. I also have never heard anyone else with this issue before.

You may want to ensure the battery levels are not low when this is occurring or possibly perform a hard reset on your Xbox. If that doesn't fix the issue it may be a hardware defect with your system. Especially if this happens with a wide variety of Xbox
    One controllers.

Why does my Elite Series 2 keep glitching out?

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    Good evening

If you are using it via bluetooth, it may be the steam deck receiver that stops working, it happens with low frequency receivers. You can check if there is an update for your control.
