    Xbox One controller randomly disconnects


    Hi,

    Both my Xbox controllers randomly disconnect from the Xbox with a slow flash, I followed some YouTube videos to re-sync then but the button in the Xbox doesn’t work. I used a wire and got them back on, updated the software but it still does it.

    When playing warzone I’ll get half way through a game, the controller starts flashing and disconnects following this I then get kicked from the game!

    No matter what I try the controllers keep de-syncing and frankly it’s starting to put me off Xbox software Xbox One controller randomly disconnects :(

    There seems to be no fix, and Microsoft sure as hell won’t send me a new Xbox replacement.

    What do I do ?!?!

    I got 2 of the xsx controllers.. they used to disconnect randomly on the xsx.. but it seems like its fixed now. on win10 some games are basically unplayable.. randomly flashes and disconnects.. the older xbox one controllers have no problems at all. does microsoft know of this problem.. it should be pretty widespread.

    your controller shouldn't just disconnect randomly, try plugging the usb into your xbox and into your controller and try updating the controller.

    I am using the original xbox one model

    Yes the controller will randomly disconnect by itself. It also turned off when I plugged in one of my headsets.

    The controller I mentioned is the normal xbox series controller.

    Yes I updated the controller and the problem still continues.

    The controller randomly disconnects and nearly immediately disconnects again once the controller has been turned back on. I’ve put new batteries in, I’ve re paired the controller to the system, I’ve unplugged the Xbox entirely to try and fix this.
