    xbox one controller randomly disconnects when using usb but works wireless


    i have tried multiple usb cords but nothing has worked my controller will work for a few minutes but randomly it doesnt work but the light stays on and i cant move or do anything untill i hold the middle button in for a second then it reconnects but the
    controller never truly turns off just says reconnect your device its no longer connected even tho the controllers light is still on i have no problems with wireless i have a video demonstration also

    Frustrated by ongoing wireless controller disconnecting

    Got mine in July15, 1TB unit. Worked fine for about 2.5 months, then controller started disconnecting, never before that. Disconnects when USB connected as well. Tried everything, including new controller, 5 different USB cables, bought a rechargable
    pack, etc. Nothing helps. Wireless connections for controllers stopped working altogether. Sent console back for repair. Came back with no indication that a problem was found. Wireless controllers would connect, but still randomly disconnect, same with
    USB, no rhyme or reason, sometimes unusable, sometimes hours without a disconnect. Sending it back again but using the "advanced replacement" so I get a new console. To me this smells like a design defect since others seem to have no problem whatsoever.
    Given that its both USB and wireless, the common point of logic is the USB hub in the XBOX One, so thats my guess. Crossing my fingers that the next one works. It will be my last one way or another.

    xbox one controller disconnects after first use

    it works fine while using a usb cable but i'm having this issue while using the wireless adapter. i will try soon to get a second controller to test that

    don't buy xbox anymore, thats how I feel right about now. mine is getting worse with random disconnects using wireless. and they won't reconnect either. been getting worse the last couple months for me, I was told to take it in and have the console repaired.
    So disappointed, never had any issues with my original xbox or my 360. nothing has been consistent with my xbox one

    Yes sorry i mean the controller, i tried everything on that page, Also today i bought a new Xbox one controller, and got the same problem, it just works when its 3 inches from the console. Usb works fine.

    When you say "remote" "...stop sync", I think you are referring to the Xbox One controller...? If so, may I suggest following up with "Xbox One
    Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect    ". Let us know if this helps.
