Xbox one controller randomly disconnecting

Recently my controller randomly disconnects from my xbox one. The light on the controller doesn't turn off and it reconnects after about 5 seconds. the batteries are charged and i also bought a brand new controller, still the same issue. I havnt changed
anything in terms of the set up in my house and Ive tried removing possible sources of interference, like other wifi capable devices but the problem remains. Anyone else have a similar problem??

Both of my controllers are also disconnecting randomly

FIFA is the main game affected suffered 10 disconnects in one half!

I do have my xbox in the next room so not sure what the range of the controllers are

Hey I am having the exact same problem for over a month. It seems to happen to alot of people and Microsoft are failing to address it. They just link everyone to a useless article that fixes nothing. I have tried everything, new batteries, brand new controllers,
installing the latest firmware with a USB in offline mode, a factory reset, changing WiFi settings, moving devices in the room that might interfere, clearing persistent storage and the alternate MAC address, updating controllers, hard resetting the console,
unplugging kinect, keeping my console plugged into a wall as Ms recommended, resyncing controllers to the console. It's driving me insane! I've tried all of the above this weekend and nothing has changed, my controller disconnected 6 times in one Overwatch
game, my console is out of warranty by a few months and I don't justify the price for a repair since my console hasn't moved an inch since it was purchased. This is my second faulty xbox one console so far, first one wouldn't read discs. This is the first
time since the first Xbox that came out years ago that I've had any issues, never had 360 issues.
