    Xbox One Controller randomly disconnecting


    Basically, I connect my Xbox One controller to my computer, and it stays connected for about 15-20 seconds. After that, my inputs don't respond, and about 2 seconds later, the controller disconnects.

    And before you ask, yes

    • I have recharged my batteries to 100%
    • I have updated the firmware of both my Bluetooth drivers and my Xbox controller
    Neither of these has resolved my issue.

    I got 2 of the xsx controllers.. they used to disconnect randomly on the xsx.. but it seems like its fixed now. on win10 some games are basically unplayable.. randomly flashes and disconnects.. the older xbox one controllers have no problems at all. does microsoft know of this problem.. it should be pretty widespread.

    your controller shouldn't just disconnect randomly, try plugging the usb into your xbox and into your controller and try updating the controller.

    I am using the original xbox one model

    Yes the controller will randomly disconnect by itself. It also turned off when I plugged in one of my headsets.

    The controller I mentioned is the normal xbox series controller.

    Yes I updated the controller and the problem still continues.

    The controller randomly disconnects and nearly immediately disconnects again once the controller has been turned back on. I’ve put new batteries in, I’ve re paired the controller to the system, I’ve unplugged the Xbox entirely to try and fix this.
