Discus and support Xbox one controller problems, home button issues, in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My xbox one controller has been working fine but today i went to play and the home button seems to not work, i cant return to the xbox dash mid-game so...     Xbox one controller problems, home button issues,


    My xbox one controller has been working fine but today i went to play and the home button seems to not work, i cant return to the xbox dash mid-game so i have to switch it off and then on again, has anyone come across this before? Is there an easy
    fix or do i need a new controller??

    How is your Elite Controller holding up?

    There is the light clicking but the home button issue must be a defect as my home button works flawlessly.

    My home button is so laggy. Half the time I press it nothing happens. I have to press it two or three times to even shut off the console.

    Try doing a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely. Let is set for a couple of minutes then start the console back up and test for results. Let us know if it helps. Good Luck!

    Try doing a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely. Let is set for a couple of minutes then start the console back up and test for results. Let us know if it helps. Good Luck!

    Just to clarify he / she is press the Xbox home button to join or the View and menu button.

    If they are pressing the Home button to join then it'll bring you to the xbox one home. Please make sure that they press the View and menu button simultaneously to open the Xbox guide menu / Accept invitations.
