    When i plug my headphone into the controller's jack input, my gamepad settings in a Steam game (I'm playing SAO: Fatal Bullet) works like default settings even if my settings still there.

    I'm not sure if these headphones are compatible via USB. If the headphones can be connected via a headphone jack then you can plug them directly into the port on your controller. This will allow sound and voice to work

    Hey everyone,

    Audio worked out of the box for me. A USB Audio Device appeared when I plugged the Stereo Headset adaptor into the controller AND plugged headphones into the adaptor.

    This is using a standard Xbox One controller (i.e. not an elite) via the wireless adaptor with v20.24.34.491 drivers.

    Xbox has stated they are trying to improve the quality of the headphones via software updates to include minimal surround sound, but you won't find anything remarkable. Left, right, front is the best you can expect.

    On a side note, the Xbox one headphones and mic both work when directly plugged into the ps4 controller. You just have to adjust the volume via ps4 button menu. The surround is the same on it through those headphones on the ps4 as explained above, on the
    xb1.

    as someone who ones one, the controller comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack which was plug and play. i bought the xbox stereo headphones which comes with an adapter for volume controls, muting etc

    Thanks for reaching out to us! So, the second headphones being used cause the screen to flicker when plugged into the controller? I do have a few questions:

    • Is it the whole screen that flickers when the headphones are plugged in?
    • What type of headphones are being used?
    • Is there any sound at least when the second headphones are plugged in?
