Xbox One Controller + Play and Charge Kit

Hi I am having a problem with my controller with a play and charge kit.

Every time I turn my xbox on, I have to manually sync my controller. This controller is not my first controller, I previously had another controller but it broke so I am using the same play and charge kit with this new controller. The annoying thing too
is that I have to unplug the play and charge kit to sync the controller.

Is there anything I can do so that my controller automatically turns on when I turn the xbox on.

P.s. My play and charge kit is always plugged in and into the side USB port. Don't know if that helps.

Yes the official play and charge kit will work in the Xbox One S controller.

hi,i buoght a New kit play and charge for xbox one s and the cable led doesn't turn on, i did the controller updating but it doesn't recharge it only say that controller is connected...... any suggestions?

I'm a little confused by your post above however I will try to help a little.

Firstly when the controller is not plugged into the console using a USB cable then turning the console on with the button on the front of it or the "Xbox on" voice command will not cause the controller to switch on.

If you are turning the controller on and it will not switch the console on it may just be the controller has not yet been synced to the console, If so please see the guide below for how to sync it.
