Xbox One Controller PC

I got a game that works on all my computers except one with the controller, it is American Truck Simulator, I have the version that was out on January 24th, I noticed my version on one computer was for October 29th 2015, it works perfectly on this game,
my other computer has the January 29th version of this driver, it works perfectly, but the January 24th driver on my 3rd computer does not work for this game.

My question is, can I install a different driver on this machine? I looked all over the net for this and the only driver I can find is for 2014, that works but the Z Access don't in this game that great with this version, plus it is such an old driver, I
could see other games having this issue.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to install the driver from my other PC's, but if there is can someone tell me? I either want the newest driver or the one from the two dates I mentioned.

Microsoft are also planning in the near feature to add the drivers as part of a Windows update.

 

Are you using it with the wireless adapter or plugged in with a USB cable?

I found that too, but it is the 2014 driver, I need the driver for October 29th 2014 or January 29th driver as I know they work

 

I can't really find much, only this
support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc which you have probably already done/seen.

Can you find the driver on your pc and delete it, then restart your pc and plug the controller back in and get a clean install of the driver again.

 

Tried that, what I would love to do is copy the driver from my other PC to this one, but Windows makes that difficult

 

Yeah, I don't think you can do that..... I could be wrong though.

It's a bit strange because windows should automatically update the drivers, so they should all be the same I'd of thought. I take it you have checked for updates to Windows? I feel like I'm wasting your time now lol, can't find anything on the net.

I had a few issues with the wireless adapter at first, that was just a case of going into the registry and deleting the dodgy driver, then updating windows to get the new driver that wasn't broken. I'll keep digging around for you, not sure what else to
suggest in the meantime.
