    XBOX One Controller PC Rumble


    I purchased an XBOX One controller for use with my PC (I don't own an actual XBOX One console, only a 360). It works perfectly, just as expected, except for one thing: rumble. I hate controller rumble and always make an effort to turn it off whenever I can.
    However, many PC games (All of the ones I own, actually) don't provide an in-game option for disabling the rumble feature. How can I disable rumble for the controller itself (without physically opening the controller and cutting the wires to the motor)?

    Hi my name is Robert. i have a XBOX ONE controller that i can play games on my windows 10 PC... the only down side is i have no vibration when playing games on it, i have tried using new controller and using another PC. My games are Rumble enabled and
    with my xbox 360 and that Rumbles just fine i have also put new batteries in but nothing still works, i have checkedthe INTERNET CATALOG download but it still dont work. is their anything i can download for this to work?

    Have Only Fifa 16 Game for Xbox One Controller. Can i test the Rumble Function in Windows ?

    As far as I am aware with my experience using xbox 360 controllers on PC there is no way to turn of the rumble motors. Opening the controller would violate any warranties on the controller as you would have to remove / puncture the sticker on the back of
    the controller. It may just be something you will have to adapt to , or in the future support for turning the rumble motors of may be released.

    So that's Microsoft's answer? "Too bad, sucks to be you"? Honestly, that's embarrassing for a company of Microsoft's size and status. I can hardly imagine it would be that hard to do.

    Actually as far as I know there are four rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers as opposed to the two in the Xbox 360 Controller.. The Xbox One Controllers has the "impulse motors" in the triggers.. But I assume that onyx62is could have ment to say that
    there are two more rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers than there is in the 360 controllers..

    True, the Link is broken.

    The XBOX App in Windows10 should let us calibrate the Controller, including trigger rumble , rumble strengh, button mapping etc.

    The Xbox app has much room for improvement- with the wireless xbox one Controller for windows 10, there is no way to check the battery status anywhere...
