Xbox one controller only works after full power off...

Hello,

Setup:

"Instant-on" enabled console.

Microsoft controller (the white one... if it matters)

Problem:

When I try to power on the console (wake from sleep) with my wireless X1 controller (Microsoft official, white), it no longer works.

If I power on the console via the "on-console" touch button, I then cannot get my controller to sync with the machine (long press the connect button on controller until the light flashes, then pressing the matching button on the side of console).

The only way I have found to guarantee connection, is to long press the power button on the console, forcing the machine to actually turn off (full power cycle). Only then (when the machine is completely off), can I actually power it on and automatically
connect my controller.

This problem seems to have started when my Gold membership expired; It seems that every time the annoying "Benefits of Gold" popup appears, I also have the aforementioned controller problem.

It may also be related to my latest purchase, Forza 6 Ultimate, but I'm pretty sure it also happened during a GTA V session... Can't confirm.

Aside from setting my console to power saver mode, and have it do a full cold boot every time I want to play, can anyone suggest any process by which I can remedy this problem?

Black screen of death

last Saturday i power on xbox one, only meet the black screen.

1, controller(wire/wireless) cannot detected the console. However wired cable still give controller/smart phone power.

2, evwn controller can power on Xbox one by hold the button, after this, the button just flash repeatly, that mean controller can’t detected the console.

3, of course monitor cannot detected my Xbox one too, and keep no signal mode.

4,power cycle didn't work. Plugged into the wall wait 7+ hours didn't work. Bind eject combi didn't work.

5,smartglass can't detect my console.

For now i ask the help.

 

2 Wired controllers both try to be player 1, input only accepted from last controller that is plugged in

I purchased 2 brand new, wired microsoft branded xbox 360 controllers for use with my xbox 360 E console. When both are plugged in, they try to be player one, and only the last controller plugged in will work. Similar to the problem documented
I haven't gone on the buy even more controllers for testing.

Troubleshooting steps taken.

1. powered off the console, power it back on, with both controllers plugged in. No change.

2. power off the console, unplug power from the console. power on the console with both controllers connected. no change.

3. power off the console. Power on the console with no controllers plugged in. Plug controllers in after console is powered on with nothing else connected, no change.

4. Plug controllers into different USB ports, including the ones on the back of the console, no change.

5. With no contollers connected, power on wireless controller, it comes up as the first player controller. plug in first wired controller, it comes up as player 2. Plug in the second wired controller, it also comes up as player 2 and only the second wired
controller that was plugged in works.

6. With no contollers connected, power on wireless controller as the first player controller. plug in first wired controller, it comes up as player 2. power off the wireless controller. plug in second wired controller, it comes up as player 2. only the
last wired controller that was plugged in works.

Each controller works by itself, so I have no reason to believe the controllers are faulty. All of the USB ports work. I have to think there is some software problem.
