Xbox One Controller on Windows 10- In game inputs control to the left

Not in most games (Like Rocket League, MGS:V) the controller input works fine, but when using the controller to config controls for emulators like Project64, and in some titles, the movement defaults to Rz-. I don't know what's wrong as I calibrated my
controller and it still does that.

Xbox One Wireless Controller PC Issues

In most PC games, when I try to use my Xbox One controller it will work fine for a few minutes but then it will become unresponsive; constantly moving the left control stick forward and not letting me make any other input. I'm running Windows 10 on a custom-built
PC, and all drivers seem to be up to date on both my PC and controller. Also, the controller works just fine when playing on the Xbox One. Any ideas on how to fix it?

 

Xbox Elite Controller on PC?

So according to the Xbox Elite controller
page, there are 4 paddles which can be attached to the back which can be mapped to duplicate functions of the other buttons. A, B, X, Y, the triggers and bumpers, D-pad, and left/right thumb stick clicks. That's cool and all, but PC games often have larger
control schemes than can fit on a standard Xbox controller, which only have 16 buttons. It would be nice to have the ability to have an extra 4 inputs for a lot PC games, so I was wondering if Windows 10 will be able to read those paddles as their own separate
inputs if we want them to. I haven't been able to find information about this anywhere.

 

I am having the same issue. I have not been able to find a way to fix this. Some people say to go to:

device manager

xbox controller (right click)

update driver

browse my computer

let me pick

microsoft xbox one controller

This did not work for me however and the controller just stopped working completely when I switched. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, calibrating, resetting to default, different xbox one controllers, new and old usb cables, and etc. Anybody have
an answer to this?

 

Please double check with the control panel applet, Start->Run->joy.cpl. This will help you understand the axes settings for the controller.

Certain games do not interpret the controller data properly. Manually changing the driver stack on Windows 10 is not recommended or supported.
