Xbox one controller on android

Hello,

Is it possible to play android games with the xbox one controller? and how do you connect it to the phone?

I only want to buy the controller without the console, so is it necessary for me to update the system and if it is, how do i do it?

Can you release Xbox One Streaming on Android? Playstation 4 Remote Play on Android featured it, plus with on screen controller as well.

How to connect Xbox One controller to Android?

Hi everyone,

I tried to connect Xbox One controller to Android (because I know it's possible) but on my Sony Z2 running Android 6.0.1 it says "Couldn't pair with Xbox One Controller because of an incorrect PIN or passkey" when I try to connect them via
Bluetooth. The Xbox Accessories app says the controller is up to date, and it works perfectly on Windows 10.

Hi there,

Interesting question, as I understand it - it could be quite hard to do, even if it is possible.

So essentially, Android support dualshock controllers as I understand, but I'm not sure about Xbox One controllers. Android phones sometimes have compatibility features for controllers and mice, but remember that the Xbox may be different.

The Xbox One controller has a micro USB port on the top, so you will need a micro USB cable with two smaller ends, or you could get a small changer for a normal micros USB cable. However, there's no guarantee it will be detected by the Android OS.

I would recommend having the most recent version of Android your device can support, in the hopes that it will increase any potential compatibility. Some people online recommend certain apps that can run on Android to support controllers, however many people
suggest that you will need a rooted phone in order to install and use that app.

I'd suggest looking online for some more guides on this.

The Xbox One Controllers developed and certified with Apple’s MFi (Made For iPhone/iPad) certification will work with games that have implemented MFi Controller support. This is just like how Apple certifies other iPhones/iPad accessories, like Lightning
cables.

yes you can connect an Xbox One S/X controller to an android device as long as the android device supports controllers. I know you can do this as I have connected mine to my android device (Amazon fire 10), and it works well. All you have to do is turn
on bluetooth on your device, and go in bluetooth settings and select scan for new device, then with the xbox one s controller, turn it on, and press and hold the sync button until the light on the controller flashes quickly. Your device should find the controller
and pair them together.

Hello viktorsigosins, for Android, you need to check your phone manufacturer and Android version to see if it is compatible with controllers or not. For your second question: yes, you can use Xbox One controller on S and X model as well.

No there is a type of controller that does have bluetooth to android i think it was xbox one s remote but i just wanted to see if i was right or if there was a way to connect the normal xbox one controller
