    Xbox one controller not working


    I turned on my controller, it was working perfectly fine. Placed it on the table and went downstairs to talk to my family. I came back and no for no reason the left thumbstick isn't working, it keeps scrolling left, and Utes out completely. Have tried replacing
    batteries restarting and moving the thumb sticks around. I don't understand why this is happening as I take the utmost care with my Xbox and accessories. If anyone knows how to solve my issue I would appreciate it.

    Headset and wireless controller

    6 week old Xbox one, wireless controller and head set, all working fine and now headset and controller not working together. Checked headset else where and working fine, checked controller and all working, any suggestions please . Have already switched
    off and reset, disconnected controller and re-set already still not worked

    Try re-syncing perhaps? Hold down the sync button and point it at Kinect.

    Hey TheSaltyFajiita! You may want to check and see if a firmware update is available for the controller. Additionally if you plug the controller in to the console, do you see the same behavior from the left stick? Post back and let me know!

    Hi there,

    A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    Hi,

    as far as I know any Xbox One controller will work on any Xbox One (or Series S|X) consoles.

    So a controller that came with a Xbox One S, should work fine with a regular Xbox One.
