    Xbox One Controller Not Working


    Hello fellow gamers. I have the special forces xbox one controller. A few days ago while in the middle of playing madden I nocticed that my controller would turn off when it vibrated. Usually it would turn back on, but now it won't. When I hold down
    the button to turn it on, the light glows faintly (this can only be seen if it is dark in the room). I have done the usual steps, tried plugging it in via micro usb, using new batteries, reconnecting it to the console, and power cycling the Xbox, to no avail.
    I would really prefer not to get another controller if possible. I have even taken apart my controller, but I'm not an expert, so I didn't notice anything wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

    Headset and wireless controller

    6 week old Xbox one, wireless controller and head set, all working fine and now headset and controller not working together. Checked headset else where and working fine, checked controller and all working, any suggestions please . Have already switched
    off and reset, disconnected controller and re-set already still not worked

    Xbox One controller not working!

    Try re-syncing perhaps? Hold down the sync button and point it at Kinect.

    A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    Hi,

    as far as I know any Xbox One controller will work on any Xbox One (or Series S|X) consoles.

    So a controller that came with a Xbox One S, should work fine with a regular Xbox One.
