    Xbox one controller not "working" with pc


    I'm having a problem with my xbox one controller working on pc, I have tried using a different USB port, and cord, I have also tried using other controllers, I am on windows 10, there are zero error messages. And what's weird is that the controller isn't blinking like normal it's doing a staggered, laggy like blinking. I've also tried updating my drivers for the controller.

    So I was wondering what are the troubleshooting options, is it my pc hardware?

    I'm not quite sure what you are asking but from the title, are you asking if an Xbox One controller will work on an Xbox 360 S? If that's what you are asking, then no, that would not work. Xbox One controllers only work on an Xbox One console and Windows
    PC. Xbox 360 controllers only work on an Xbox 360 console and Windows PC.

    You need an xbox one controller if on xbox one - The newer xbox controller with bluetooth will work with PC or you need a usb dongle sold separately.

    Like Maxen13, I would be interested to know what game/s you were having problems with using you Xbox One controller on your PC?

    All the Xbox 360 controller compatible PC games should work fine with the One controller.
