Xbox one controller not working with mic

    Xbox one controller not working with mic


    I have gone through 3 headsets in the last few months because after a week or two they all stop working with my controllers. I have used the headsets on other devices and they have worked fine, but when I try to use them with my xbox controllers, no sound
    comes through and the mic doesnt work. My controllers arent old either, the oldest one being about 9 months old and the newest one 3 months. All the controllers are updated properly so I dont think thats the problem. Also, all of them oddly stopped working
    around the same time. If anyone knows anything about how I can fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Both mics are xbox official headsets and controllers, one of the controllers is a day one edition but just bought another brand new official xbox controller to see if that was the problem. The Mic just randomly stopped working one evening. And yes the

    I have 3 mics and only the original xbox one mic works. The stereo and the turtle beaches do not work due to this issue. Someone said there is a component in the controller that becomes lose and disables it. Did you try another controller?

    Default headset oddly not working

    There is a problem that is, if you switch your Xbox One on with the mic already plugged into your controller, then the mic will not work. But however your issue sounds different. It sounds to me like the auxiliary port on your Xbox One controller is broken
    (the place where you plug your mic into). Does it have dust or any visible problems, if not then you might have to look into getting a new controller.

    How come once I connect a headset to one of my controllers, I can't use the headset for other controllers?

    I've been having trouble with my mic not working properly on one of my controllers. I figured out that my controller was the reason why my mic sounded bad. I tried to connect my mic with a better working controller and I couldn't talk. I looked at all the
    settings and couldn't find an solution. I think the mic is linked to the other bad controller in some way.

    is it an Xbox Official Headset (or Stereo Headset) or a third-party one? Do you use an adaptor or do use the 3,5mm jack on the controller?

    Im afraid it didnt work.

    I've already unpluged any mic from my computer and also done that.

    The xbox app also has empty the mic selection menú and still doing the same.

    Each time Im using the control with the mic in the xbox, i start stream and the mic stops working.

    I dont think its about the computer detecting a mic.

    Its about dome option for use microphone and cancelling the one o have connected directly to the xbox.

    I could use the mic in the pc, but the audio is horrifying.

    There is nothing like using the mic directly in the control to the xbox.

    The sound is loud and clear.
