    Xbox One controller not working properly


    Hello,

    I'm having some problems with one of my controllers that I got a couple of years ago. Whenever I connect it to the console, it starts doing weird things such as making the buttons on the menu flicker. I have tried many things such as cleaning it and resetting
    it but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would make me really happy!

    Hi there!

    Since the controller is a bit older you may need to have it have that serviced or replaced, but we can run a few tests to be sure the controller is the issue.

    Does this happen with another controller on the same console, or with the controller wired to the console with a USB cable?

    Does the controller require an
    update at this time?

    Are you seeing the same issues with this controller on another console as well?

    works fine so I don't think it is the console that is the problem.

    They will be able to supply you with info about warranty options if they are available.

    Is there any physical damage done to your controller? If so you might have to request a repair.

    Also, is your controller up to date? Is this happening to more than one of your controllers? If so try power cycling your console.
