    Xbox One Controller Not Working In Gamepass PC Games


    I've tried playing Destiny 2 and Forza Horizon 5, but the controller isn't working in either. The PC detects the controller and it is working in non-Xbox games, but the Xbox app, Xbox Accessories app, and Destiny 2 do not detect it at all when connected via Bluetooth. Forza Horizon shows the "controller disconnected" message any time I press anything on the controller. The controller does work with these apps via USB, but I don't have a long enough one to comfortably play and I generally prefer Bluetooth.

    Yes, all up to date. And weirdly enough.. i've installed the PC Gamepass App on my Windows Laptop... AND the controller does not work on their either. Strange! This controller works fine if i use the XBox Gamepass app via android devices.

    Why in the world do none of my controllers work for gamepass games for PC?

    All three controllers work on other PC's, all three controllers work on emulators and steam games, its specifically a gamepass issue.

    Its possible, in theory, if the game supported that as a controller or you had an adaptive controller rig. If its not an accessory that's straight up compatible with the Xbox (or any random game on Gamepass or PC Gamepass) then it just won't work unless
    you have a lot of plugins or download the game through something like Steam where you can edit the support files yourself.
