    Xbox One Controller not working for GTA V on xbox one console.


    Okay this has started happening a little while ago, but my xbox one controller just doesn't work on gta v (disc for xbox one) whenever I load up the game I can't move, open the menu or anything on the game. I hit the xbox button and it pulls up the guide
    and it responds perfectly but as soon as I go to the game it does nothing. I have searched EVERYWHERE for an answer and I can't find one.

    Yes I have gone to the official xbox wireless controller page to try and find and answer and I haven't found one.

    No my controller doesn't have an update.

    Yes I have fully rebooted my console a million times.

    It doesn't happen for any other game except gta v.

    EDIT: My controller only does this on GTA V, it works with any other game that I play. (I.E Assassin's Creed Odyssey which I also have on disc.)

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully clear up this issue you've run into with GTA. I can understand how this could be perplexing. Since it's only happening with GTA, I would suggest trying the steps outlined in our

    Xbox One Game Freeze Solution     as they are known to resolve several gameplay issues.

    When you get a chance, give that a shot and let us know how that helped.
