XBOX One Controller not sending inputs

Alright, had a weird one. It was sometime yesterday, and I had let my controller sit on my desk to go eat some dinner (not at my desk), and I came back, turned on the controller... no inputs were reading. No Guide Button, none. It is able to sync, but finicky at best, and unable to at worst. Even plugging it into my Windows 10 PC and attempting to play some cloud gaming (DOOM Eternal) turns no results. So, I swapped the controller out with my other one, no issues there, keep in mind that the one I swapped to is older.
*Connecting the broken controller to the XBOX through a cable also yields nothing.

Just as of writing this, I decided to get some Control Panel readings. It all returns normal.

Z Axis (LT + RT) are fully functional, Buttons 1-10 are functional (11-16 are unused I suppose.), PoV Hat (D-Pad) is good, and the X-Axis and Y-Axis box are good as well, albeit my left stick is a bit loose, that's why the crosshair isn't entirely centered.

Another odd behavior. With the working controller, plugging it in (to my PC) turns on the guide light, and disconnecting the cable makes the guide light flash. Not with the broken one. The broken one does automatically light up, but disconnecting it does not make the guide light flash, instead, it just stays lit.

This is what I currently have, there are no error messages, nothing. If you have any suggestions, they would be amazing.
*Might as well add: I have played way too much CoD MWII (2022) with the broken controller, the use time may be part of why it isn't doing so hot right now.

Now that you mention it, I did mistime it - the controller incident actually happened on the 18th. Now that I know it's not just me, this is no longer a fear that I was the one to spill something on it. Thanks.
