Xbox One controller not responding to headset

As of recently, my xbox 1 controller has not been responding to my hyper x cloud alpha headset. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Xbox one controller not responding

I have a very annoying issue right now, I was playing assassins creed unity, I paused and went to the ubisoft play option. But then I went back to the game and no inputs were working except the map button. This will also happen if I dashboard and come back
to the game, none of the inputs work expect the map button. Any fixes? Thanks.

Xbox one controller not responding

Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

How recently did the headset stop working with the controller? To start, can you use the steps in the
controller update guide to verify that the controller itself is fully updated?

Also, if you test that headset with a different Xbox One controller, do you see any difference?

I appreciate your time in responding. Unfortunately, I have done this already, the issue is not with the headset. I have tried other headsets in my possession, the issue persists and must be with the console output to the controller. The same controller
and headset work perfectly with my Year One Xbox One console.

Thanks for responding. I've tried the suggestions already with no success. The system is an xbox 1s. It is a wired headset connected to the controller. I've tried multiple headsets with multiple controllers. I have sound for both the games and other people in the chat but the mic is not working for any of the headsets, one of which is brand new. Thanks for any help with this.

Thanks for the update with the issue with the headset on the Xbox One Controller.
I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting articles:

If the problem persists:

Try your Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working.
Try using a Headset Adapter for compatibility issues.
Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
updating the first controlleragain.

Try this out and let us know the results.

question please...when in party chat, I can hear others, but they can't hear me. So far I've tried 2 different xbox ones, three controllers (one new) and three headsets (one new). My friend has tried two controllers and two headsets (one new).
NAT is open on both xboxes, microphone switched on in settings, mic not muted on the headset, volume turned up in settings. I've done a self / solo party test, which worked OK, circle around gamertag responds to voice. Help is appreciated as I'm stuck!

I am having similar issues with a new headset. We can pair and hear the game audio through the headset, but it is not signalling into, nor receiving any chat audio....
