    Xbox One controller not responding for a sec


    so i turn my console on with my controller fine this morning. I went to put in madden 15 to play and the screen came up where it said "press any button to continue" the controller wouldn't respond to that so i had to turn my controller off and back on and
    it worked fine. any ideas why i had to do this?

    Xbox one controller not responding

    I have a very annoying issue right now, I was playing assassins creed unity, I paused and went to the ubisoft play option. But then I went back to the game and no inputs were working except the map button. This will also happen if I dashboard and come back
    to the game, none of the inputs work expect the map button. Any fixes? Thanks.

    Xbox one controller not responding

    Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

    That's great to know that you're doing well, DevanDaSilva. Thank you so much for checking. For the last resort, kindly try connecting the controller on a different device such as your Laptop or PC then check on Xbox Accessories App if it will work, you will be able to update it from there.

    I’m doing well, thank you for asking :). But yes, I’ve tried both of those. I have 2 controllers and the other is working perfectly fine and I’ve also tried connecting the non-responsive controller to the Xbox via USB-C and it still didn’t work.

    This is an odd one, my controllers have been disconnecting recently as well but for never more than a few seconds at a time, and maybe only once during excessive use. For it to randomly become unresponsive for longer periods makes me believe it may be
    a hardware issue?
