  1. Xbox One Controller Not Connected When Xbox Turns On

    Hi All,

I have the original big block xbox one console.

I'm having an issue with my xbox one console where the controller isn't connected to the console to turn it on or if the console turns on, the controller isn't connected. I have three controllers and same issue occurs with all.

I've tried numerous things and they have worked in the past (youtube videos) but now its at the point where the controller has to be synced every time the console turns on. Every controller is like this.

I've purchased a new wireless controller and the issue still persists. Console and controllers have been used in the same location of the house for almost three years.

I don't want to sync the controller every time I want to use the console.

    What to do?

    :)

Controller lights problem - need reassurance

Ok sometimes when I turn on my Xbox 360 slim, the lights signalling that a controller is connected, do NOT turn on. The controller shows that it is connected but the Xbox has no green rings, any help would be appreciated.

Xbox One Controller Not Connected When Xbox Turns On

Hey BiG BeLLy BuDa! Is the console plugged in to a wall outlet or power strip/surge protector? Is the console in Energy-Saver or Instant-On mode? Check out the troubleshooting steps

    here
and see if they help resolve the issue as well. Post back and let me know!

    Xbox one controller

It's a bit hard to figure out what the problem might be based on the given information.

When you turn on your controller, does it automatically turn on your Xbox? If not, then it's not connected and you might need to sync it first.

    To do so:

    - Turn on Xbox

    - Turn on controller

    - Press "connect" button on Xbox

    - Press and hold "connect" button on controller

    - Release button when the Xbox logo on the controller stops flashing.

    Cannot Sync Xbox 360 Controllers

They are all different brands of wireless controllers. Microsoft to Amazon. NONE will connect. Yes the steps are followed perfectly and variants of the steps.

Press the ON X button. Flashes in a circle. Press the Xbox Connect. It too flashes. Press the small controller sync. Flashes slow down. After less than 1 minute the Xbox stops flashing. Then the controller stops flashing.

Only the one controller that came with it used connects. No other will. Even when I unpair, turn off, and reset the xbox. It will see NO controllers except the when I turn on the one it likes. One and that is it.

These other controllers have NO issues with my PC or Xbox 1. Just the 360.

Xbox Controller Sync & Powering off from after pressing sync button five times....

My sync button turns off my Xbox one X and won't connect any controllers.

When controllers do connect they disconnect and flash.

Had this problem since beginning of February.

    Controller issues

Hi Tony, with your second controller try and manually sync it to your Xbox one, see if it works for you, doing this fixed this issue for me.

    support.xbox.com/.../connect-a-wireless-controller

    1. Turn on your Xbox One console.

    2. Insert AA batteries (or rechargeable batteries from the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit) into the controller. See Using AA batteries in your Xbox One Wireless Controller.

    3. Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button until the controller turns on. (The Xbox button is the larger circular button located in the middle of the controller near the top.) The Xbox button will flash, indicating it's not yet connected
to a console. If the Xbox button is lit solid, the controller is already connected.

(Note If the controller doesn't turn on, check the batteries. If you're using rechargeable batteries, make sure that they're charged.)

    4. Press and release the connect button on the console. (The connect button is a small circular button located around the corner from the disc tray.)

    5. Within 20 seconds, press and hold the black connect button on the back of the controller until the controller's Xbox button quickly flashes a few times, indicating that it's searching for the console. It switches to a solid light when it's connected.
(The connect button is a small circular button located on the top of the controller as you hold it in your hands.)

Your controller is now connected to your console. Repeat this procedure for every extra controller that you want to add.
