Xbox One Controller not charging via USB with Official Kit(s)

Hi, I purchased two play and charge kits for my Xbox One controllers (one white, one black). The white controller will not charge using the cables from the kits and the LED will not light when the cable is plugged in (but will work to connect the controller
via USB). The white controller will work using the batteries charged in the black controller, however. All cables and batteries work with the black controller including the orange/white LED on the cables. I think some part of the white controller is faulty.
Still in warranty controllers purchased 2nd December 2019 and both worked fine with AA batteries. Please advise MS and repair/replace.

Yes the official play and charge kit will work in the Xbox One S controller.

Hello in order to send the control through repair you have to go through the Xbox support page and repair. You need to make sure you have the controllers serial number on the site. The serial number is found behind the batteries on the controller. Once
the serial number is entered it will let you know if the controller is still under warranty. That way you will be able to send it through repair if possible.

have you tried a different controller with the charge kit,could be a bad connection,was this an official play and charge kit? as they tend to be a much better quality,i tend to use the USB to mini USB play and charge kits

All you need is any USB to mini-USB cable and you're all set. It'll charge your controller's batteries in 4 hours.
