  1. Xbox One controller not being recognized by Windows 10 PC at all

I recently bought a xbox one controller for the purpose of using it on the PC and I've plugged it in via micro-USB (the controller gives a vibrate when plugged in) but not only do when I press the Xbox button does the controller not stay on - despite being
wired my PC doesn't seem to detect it. I've installed the controller drivers (which are already in Windows 10 apparently) and have searched several forums for information - all of which assume the basic step that the computer at least recognizes the device.
I've tried to connect via Bluetooth as well - alas to no avail. I'm not sure what step I'm missing in using the controller on a PC - could someone please point me in the right direction?

    :)

  2. Xbox app streaming not (any longer) supports two controllers ?

I am connecting two Xbox one wireless controllers through an Xbox Wireless Adapter to a Windows 10 PC, and always playing my Xbox one console games on Win 10 by streaming, and those all went right and smooth, until the recent updates.

Now, with the latest updates of both the Xbox one console firmware ( 10.0.15063.3054/rs2_release_xbox_1705.170512-1759 ) and the Xbox App ( 29.29.17002.00000 ), only one ( the first working one when streaming starts ) controller is usable in streaming. No
matter in the home page or in game, only one controller is recognized by the console.

The two controllers are the original first gen Xbox one controllers (without 3.5mm jacks), both individually properly recognized by Windows 10 ( Win 10 Pro 1703/15063.296 ) and works well, even inside the Xbox app itself, except streaming.

    Any suggestions?

Xbox One controller not being recognized by Windows 10 PC at all

    Hi

Can you please try using an alternate USB lead as some of them are only wired for charging and not data.

Problem Adaptator xbox one for pc

On your Windows 10 PC, I would recommend opening Device Manager and check that the adapter is being recognized properly on the PC and there are no issues listed with that device.

I would also recommend trying to connect the controller up via a USB cable and see if the controller is recognized that way.

And before that, I would ask that this is a Xbox One controller, or is this an Xbox 360 controller that you're trying to use?
