    Xbox One controller no longer works wirelessly


    I updated my Xbox One S controller firmware using the "Xbox Accessories" app in the Microsoft Store. After this update my controller now only works in wired mode. The "X" button will only light up briefly when unplugged before turning off again. I can
    no longer use this device through Bluetooth with my PC. The firmware update was not interrupted and it did complete fully, but it rendered my controller nearly useless for my application. I tried to re-flash the firmware, but the app claims it is fully up
    to date. Other things I have tried:
    - Update the firmware through Device Manager
    - Run older version of Windows 10 in a VM to attempt to install the older firmware

    Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    P.S. Stay away from the Xbox Accessories app. I wish I read the reviews before I used it...

    The device's pairing feature is not functional after the firmware update and it cannot attempt to connect to any device.

    Hello! Did you try to synchronize the control to another device to check if it connects? Or another device to the pc that is used? These procedures can already define where the error is.
