Xbox One controller no longer recognised as connected by Cloud gaming (Windows 10)

Hi there Fernando. Thanks for this. I have been able to play with wired USB. Still, it isn't an ideal result.

I can confirm I have followed the steps you have suggested. My Windows 10 installation is up to date and so are Windows Store, Xbox, Xbox Game Bar clients.

Try to power cycle your controller:

- Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.

- Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on.

If your controller still not working please try to connect it via a USB cable to your computer.

By the way check if your Windows 10 is up to date and have all updates installed, including the Windows 10 21H1.

Are you using Windows 10? If you are, Windows 10 should recognise the wireless adapter directly. Is the adapter the original one from Microsoft or a third party one?

In case is the official one, follow the instructions described in this url : https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/connect-xbox-wireless-controller-to-pc

In case it doesn't work, maybe the adapter is malfunctioning. You should take it to the shop and get it changed for a working one.

I have the same issue:

* the plain Xbox controller (non elite) connects via bluetooth to the TV and is recognised by the Xbox cloud app on my Samsung TV. I can use it to play games using the Samsung Xbox app.

* the brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects via bluetooth to the TV and is NOT recognised by the Xbox cloud app.

I tried several attempts deleting the pairing, re-pairing. Turn off TV on the power switch. Re-installing the Xbox app on the Samsung TV.

The result is always the same:

* The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects successfully to the TV and is shown as Paired and Connected in the Samsung TVs feature where you add external devices.
* But the Xbox app shows the yellow ! exclamation mark and does not recognise the Elite Controller.

I’ve paired my other non Elite standard Xbox controller now vie Bluetooth and USB, which works both.

I am using a PDP Wired Controller designed for Series X, Xbox Onez and Windows 10/11.

I have not tried cloud gaming with this controller on a different device as I would have no way to connect the controller and device (it is not Bluetooth enabled).
