    Hi! Is it possible that there are manufactured xbox one controller model 1708 that are asia versions?

    Because I've bought an xbox one wireless controller which says model 1708 as checked on the battery compartment.

    But the face of the controller, particularly with the part around the xbox logo isn't connected on the whole face of the controller, which it should be since it is the model 1708, just like this:

    Because as per the seller where I bought my xbox one controller, it is possible that the controller is the asia version of the model 1708.

    Why can I only connect one of my 2 controllers to my pc?

    Im using it through installation but its not getting reconised by my pc. The controller alone works fine with my xbox however its working on my pc. Its the 1708 Model controller which is not working but my other one is also a 1708 Model but it is beeing recoised by my pc.

    Sorry to hear it. I think you may want to contact the seller about this. If the controller design hasn't changed then this one may be a refurbished one with a new set of bumpers

    The best would be to contact the seller about that issue. They must know.
    That's what they told me when I asked about it. They said that it is model 1708 Asia version and they also mentioned that it is possible that there are different model/version for each region. That's why I want to know of there's such thing as different
    model/versions for each region.
