Discus and support Xbox One Controller Micro USB port sort of pushed in? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So my dog walked by and somehow managed to pull on the charger chord connected to my contoller and my controller fell maybe 2ft onto the carpet....     Xbox One Controller Micro USB port sort of pushed in?


    So my dog walked by and somehow managed to pull on the charger chord connected to my contoller and my controller fell maybe 2ft onto the carpet. However, it seems like the port on the controller got pushed in and maybe a bit broken from it. The cable works
    fine on your old controllers and works fine. The warranty literally ran out just a few days ago... anyone got any ideas? Thank you for any help or information!

    XBox One controller's charge port - what kind is it?

    I want to purchase a micro-USB cable in order to connect the controller to the PC or XBox One. But I found out there are many types of Micro-USB:

    Micro-A, Micro-B, etc.

    Can anyone tell me what kind of Micro-USB is the one in the controller's front port, so I don't purchase a useless cable?

    turned off console with controller and now wont work

    There are three ways to connect your controller with your xbox. you can

    1.) Enroll the controller using the console’s connect button

    2.) Enroll the controller using Kinect

    3.)Enroll the controller using a USB to micro-USB cable

    Have you tried all of those options (even the USB one. even a phone charger with micro USB to a USB port will work)

    Try hooking up a Micro-USB from the USB port on the xbox and pluging it up to the controller.

    Or if you are using batteries try new ones!

    They arre standard USB type A ports on the console. The 360 controllers use a custom interface just for charging and have no wired mode

    Xbox One controllers, which use Micro USB or USB C won’t work on Xbox 360
